About Seedance 2.5
Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's current video model. It is known for coherent multi-shot narratives, consistent characters across cuts and confident camera work. Clips run from 4 to 30 seconds with generated audio.
Modes available on WandVideo
- Text to video in six aspect ratios including 21:9.
- Image to video from a start image with an optional end image. Aspect ratio follows the image.
Resolutions are 480p and 720p. 1080p will be added once the provider publishes its rate for this endpoint.
Prompting tips
- Seedance responds well to screenplay-style prompts: describe the shot list in order.
- Name recurring characters consistently ("the woman in the red coat") to keep them stable across shots.
- Audio is included at no extra credit cost, so leave it on unless you plan to replace the soundtrack.
Credits
The provider bills Seedance per pixel-frame token rather than per second. WandVideo converts this into a fixed credit price per second for each resolution, shown in the table above, so the cost never surprises you.
