Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data WandVideo ("we", "us") collects when you use wandvideo.com (the "Service"), why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Data we collect
Account data. When you sign up we collect your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your name and profile picture as provided by Google. We do not receive your Google password.
Generation data. The prompts you enter, the images you upload, the parameters you choose, the videos generated for you, and the status of each generation.
Payment data. When you buy credits, our payment processor collects your payment details. We receive a transaction ID, the amount, and the last four digits of your card if applicable. We never store full card numbers.
Usage and device data. IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, approximate location derived from IP, and events such as sign-in and generation. We collect this through server logs and analytics tools.
Support data. Anything you send us when you contact support.
2. How we use data
- To provide the Service: generate videos, store your results, show your history, and manage credits.
- To send your prompts and images to third-party AI model providers via fal.ai so a video can be generated.
- To run automated content-safety checks on prompts and images before generation.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, including rate limiting, bot detection and enforcing our Acceptable Use Policy.
- To process payments and comply with tax and accounting obligations.
- To send transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts, generation failures). We only send marketing emails if you opt in.
- To improve the Service using aggregated, de-identified analytics.
We do not use your prompts, images or generated videos to train AI models.

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and our agreement with it. Model providers may retain inputs for a limited period for abuse monitoring according to their policies.
4. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block analytics cookies in your browser; the Service will still work.
5. Data retention
- Account data is kept while your account is active and for up to 90 days after deletion, unless a longer period is required by law.
- Uploaded images and generated videos are kept so you can access them from your dashboard. You can delete individual generations at any time; deleted files are removed from storage within 30 days.
- Payment records are kept for the period required by tax law (typically 7 years).
- Moderation logs for blocked requests are kept for up to 12 months to enforce our policies.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA, UK and California) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise most of these rights from your dashboard or by emailing privacy@wandvideo.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for transfers out of the EU/EEA and UK.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage, access controls and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data we will notify you as required by law.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new "last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you by email or a notice on the site.
